Mission & values

At Goodness Village, we believe housing is just the first step toward a restored life. By combining permanent supportive housing with relational care, we empower formerly unhoused Tri-Valley neighbors to heal, grow, and thrive in a place they can truly call home.

Goodness Village is an affordable tiny home program that provides the Tri-Valley’s formerly unhoused neighbors a safe and supportive community to live independently, heal, and thrive!

Our Mission

The 4 r’s

To conceptualize how Goodness Village supports our neighbors in creating a Fresh Start, a neighbor’s transition out of chronic homelessness can be broken down into four stages.

Our core values

Empowerment

We provide the tools, resources, and opportunities our neighbors need to direct their own lives and achieve personal independence.

Community

We cultivate a warm, diverse space where every neighbor, staff member, and volunteer belongs and has a voice.

Compassion

We build genuine relationships, peer support, and local partnerships across the Tri-Valley so no one walks alone.

Inclusion

We lead with empathy, active listening, and radical kindness in every interaction and decision.

Our Vision

To transform the way our community understands homelessness and bring dignity back to our unhoused brothers and sisters.
